Our transcriptionists and proofreaders are the most valuable assets of our business, and at Indraft we ensure that all staff are fully trained in order to achieve the highest quality for our clients:

  • All transcriptionists are required to undergo an induction course lasting at least one month before commencing work
  • They are trained in specialist vocabulary and terminology
  • They are trained to recognise different dictating styles and accents
  • For our regular clients, we assign the same group of transcriptionists to undertake their work
  • Each transcriptionist is required to sign a confidentiality agreement
  • We monitor all staff for quality control purposes, ensuring that the client receives an accurate and timely service at all times

In order to give you the most efficient service, we work with trusted Indian companies using only office-based workers, ensuring that the highest standards of security are met. We personally vet each contractor we work with to ensure that they can meet our security and confidentiality standards, and we regularly visit the contractors to ensure that standards are being upheld.

Why you shouldn't use an automated system

Turnaround Times

Work received on a weekday before 1200 will be returned by 1700 that day. Any work received after this time will be returned before 0900 the next working weekday. We will, however, aim to return work to you as soon as possible depending on when the work is received and how much there is. Work received over a weekend will be back by 0900 the following working day

Pricing

Normally, Indraft charges for its work on a per-line basis (a line being 65 characters including spaces). The rate of charge depends on a number of variables, including volume of work, quality of the dictation and the required turnaround time.  Additional charges may apply for work which is required urgently. There are no annual fees or minimum charges.

Copytyping

We are experts in producing editable documents from image files or PDF files. Whether you just want the content extracted or need to reproduce the exact layout of the original document complete with cross-referencing and a contents page, we are able to meet your requirements.

Turnaround Times

We offer a 24hr turnaround for copytyping work, although often the work will be returned more quickly than that. For particularly long documents with complex formatting requirements or where the document is in manuscript rather than typed text, the turnaround time may be extended.

There are no annual fees or minimum charges. If you require cross-referencing to be added, we reserve the right to make an additional charge based on the time taken to add the cross-references.

Pricing

The price for each project completely depends on what our team is required to do. Once we have discussed with you, we will agree an hourly rate, which we will usually be able to refine into a price per unit of work done once we know how long such a task usually takes.

If we are guaranteed a certain volume per month then this can also affect the final pricing for the work.
